When you create an account on $5k Motors, your profile information (full name, role) is stored securely via our backend platform. We do not sell, rent, or share your account credentials with any third party.

Your email address is collected at registration and used for account verification, transaction notifications, and to route in-app messages between buyers and sellers. Your email is never displayed publicly on listings unless you choose to share it in your profile.

Information and photos you submit when creating a vehicle listing (make, model, year, price, condition, and up to 15 images) are public and appear in search results and listing detail pages. Please avoid including personally identifiable information in photos, such as visible home addresses or license plates you wish to keep private.

In-app messages and offers exchanged between buyers and sellers are stored securely and are accessible only to the parties involved. We may review message data solely to investigate fraud, resolve disputes, or enforce our community guidelines.

We collect the ZIP code associated with each vehicle listing to display a city and state and to support location-based search. Buyers may filter results by distance from their ZIP code. We do not track or store real-time GPS coordinates from your device.

Payments for Urgent Sale listing boosts and extra listing slots are processed entirely through Apple StoreKit (In-App Purchase). $5k Motors does not collect, receive, or store your payment card details. All financial transactions are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy).
